Jostedalsbreen is the largest glacier on mainland Europe. The glacier is a part of the Jostedalsbreen National Park.

Folgefonna, near Rosendal, is the third largest glacier on Norway's mainland, and is said to be the safest and biggest plateau glacier in Norway.
