The West Coast - Home of the Fjords

The word "Fjord" itself stems from Norwegian - and the West Coast is part of the explanation. The Lysefjord is located south in Western Norway, and a highlight is the Pulpit Rock.
The Hardangerfjord area is known for Folgefonna glacier, spectacular fruit tree blossoming and many stunning waterfalls.
The Sognefjord is Norway's longest fjord. Nærøyfjord is the wildest and most beautiful branch of the Sognefjord.
